David Aaron Clark has been making some really interesting movies lately. They have been a little hit and miss for me personally, but the hits are becoming more frequent. A couple of his movies in 2003 made my list of the best releases in the past year. When he does strike a chord with me personally, his movies are really damn good. It helps that Clark shares my enthusiasm for some of the same women. Ladies like Loni, Kimmy and Maja Lee are some of the best kept secrets in porn and Clark's movies give these babes a chance to shine. The first Zen movie was a little bit out there, but there was some good sex at the heart of it. I'm hoping for the same sexual energy to go along with the eclectic messages that Clark mixes in with his sex. I also hope that the editing and style of the movie doesn't totally kill the heat. (And yes, there is a place for super arty stuff in porn. I just reserve the right not to dig it when it gets in the way of hotties like Loni and Maja.)
