Description: "Pike Bishop (William Holden) is the leader of the Wild Bunch, a group of outlaws who find their way of life quickly growing obsolete in 1913. After surviving an ambush by bounty hunters, Pike realizes that the Wild Bunch cannot last forever and wants to plan one "last job" to make them wealthy before they ride off into the sunset. A railroad company employs Thornton (Robert Ryan), a former member of the Wild Bunch, and a gang of bounty hunters to destroy the outlaws. "Sam Peckinpah's masterpiece western touches on themes of aging, friendship, loyalty, betrayal, and deception; but the balletic beauty and raw carnage of its gun-fights leave an indelible impression, perfectly capturing the allure and the consequences of the violent life of an outlaw.
